once the bolts are out, just pull (carefully). there might be some honda-bond holding them on. try and wiggle the capps.

you can slide a bolt 1/2 way back through the cam cap and put a side to side motion on it. keep working with them and they will come off.

you just have to tap them back and forth with a mallet a few times...the dowel pins hold them in there pretty good.

rubber mallet or wiggeling, then you take the cams out (don't forget to set everything to TDC) and then undo the had bolts and then lift the head off/.

The rubber mallet works good. Make sure you don't try to pry up a cam....A friend of mine got a little bit frustated and did that and cracked a good gsr cam.

thanks guys, I got them off. Now I am to the headstuds. I just broke one of my fu*kin extensions in my socket . No breaker bar here...

Rating 1-10. How hard is it to assembly a bottom end? What is the difficult part?

it's all very easy to dissasemble, its assembly thats the harder part. (which isn't that hard if you are read about it and have confidence in yourself.

difficulty is probably a 8.

If you dont know what you are doing, you will fail.
