So how would I rotate my compressor housing so It doesnt hae the outlety prt hitting the engine block.??

Loosen the bolts on it, and it will rotate.

 

Yes, it's called clocking the turbo. There should be about 6 bolts, loosen them, spin it to the desired position, and retighten them...

 

ummm how. I posted some pics... wich bolts do i loosen. does it just rotate???

OK SO WHICH ONES THO... I loosen the four that you can se there but it dont turn.

I believe you loosened the wrong ones. They're the bigger bolts that are actually on the compressor housing. Then it will just spin (unless it's rusty or something, which it may be).

 

IF its a rusty/used turbo, get a soft rubber mallet and bang it (after u loosen the 6 bolts that is!) it should break loose of rust and rotate pretty easily.

 

From the pics, u loosened the wrong bolts!

 

OK cool i got it... but now My internal wastgate pressure thingy w/ rod wont fit... Damn any ideas????

How can I tell if this turbo will give me 5 psi??

when you clock the turbo with an internal wastegate if your rotating away from the block your turning up the boost, i had to do it to mine to fit the bottom charge pipe on, so your gonna have to turn the rod...by the way i didnt have to loosen any bolts to clock it, just wedge a bar inbetween two bolts and pull. i have a TD04 from greddy

 

So how the hell do i get 5 psi out of this thing. I want 5 psi max cause im not running engine managment yet ...

5 psi intercooled should be safe on 93 octane
