how do I properly read the spark plug gapping tool ?

3 is good and you'll want a lower gap. many people run gap around .024-.027, for boosted on those plugs I would say .03 at the most reading off the third spot

dont you guys have a gapping tool? my is a little keychain one from advance autoparts and it says the measurements rights on it.
