Default how big is yours?

i found some mandrel bent pipes that's about 2.25 inches in diamter for a pretty decent price...so that's what i currently have. i've heard stories of the diameter in piping being to small and causing the fins of the snail to break or something like that.

i'm a little concerned about my exhaust piping. i have a JDM sohc VTEC engine and i was curious if that setup would be alright for about 200whp daily driven? i currently have a (non-resonated) test pipe also and only 1 resonator with a integra type-R muffler. TiA -david

I donno, mine is pretty big. Bout 7 and a half inches. She seems to like it

Damn it now I have to answer so I'm not a jack-***. 2.25 won't "break" the fins or anything like that. But 2.25 is pretty restrictive. For 200whp it will work fine, but going with 2.5" is not hard to find and not expensive. On Exhaust for turbos bigger is ALWAYS better.

2.25"= not optimal, but will work for your setup
2.5" = pretty good and very easy to find
3" = still cheap and even better
4+" = Still small for women, but turbos LOVE it

Stock exhaust piping will cuase loss in HP. Turbos move alot of air compared to NA, so like ^ said, bigger is better.

I have never heard of piping breaking the wheel on the turbo, who told you that?

no need for 4"+ unless its a drag-only car. Ive seen 3" setups support 700+ WHP
