How big should sleeve?
Currently i am debating how big of a sleeve i should go in my b18a. Ive been thinking to go 84mm but ive been told i need to modify the head and then if god forbid anything happened to my block i would essentially needs a new one.
What's should i do guys HELP! Im leaning to maybe an 83mm sleeve so that in case something does happen i am safe.

84mm is fine to run. the only problem is if something goes wrong (torched piston) it doesn't leave you a lot of room to clean up the damage that it has done. you can run 85mm but 86mm is pushing it. but then again if only one sleeve gets damaged you can always get that single sleeve replaced. you can always get the block resleeved again, it will never be scrap. oh yeah take into consideration the fact that by increasing bore size can increase C/R. turbo apps. try to keep bore size at 84 or under just to be safe.
