How bad is the damage?

**** i woulda lost 5 bucks.
you need to pull the valves and check the valve seat to see if it got damaged from the bent vlave. other then that replacing the valve if all you really need to do. youll probably need to get the valves and seat cut to match each other at the machine shop so youll have to disassemble the head. might as well just get a valve job all the way around at that point.

I looked through the spark plug holes, and the top of the pistons didn't appear damaged, and the engine spins easily by hand if you put a ratchet on the crank pulley. So if the vavles were bent, wouldn't it be obvious from looking at the head? The engine also has low compression pistons, so Im not sure if the piston could even hit a valve. Let me know what you think...</TD></TR></TABLE>
Just a little contact goes a LONG way to keeping your engine from firing. No compression = no combustion.
You will ahve to replace ALL of the bent valves. Chances are its just the exhaust if the belt just skipped a tooth or four. Replace them, then make sure the intake valves are sealing. Do a valve adjustment, put head back on, and fire it up. Again, zero compression = bad intake valves.
