Default How am i looking?

Noob here

Help would be ohh so appreciated in boosting my d16.

Heres a pic of it, i think a turbo would finish it off nicely!

So..

http://www.treadstoneperforman...o+Kit

This kit looks pretty good to me, am i right?

So on top of this, what do i need?
Ive got a Walbro fuel pump already installed.
A missing link.
What size injectors?
Chipped ECU
Do i need a FMU?
Boost guage, Air/Fuel, Oil Pressure? that it for basic guages?
Already got cams and cam gear.
B&M fuel pressure reg
Boost controller. Think i can get away with a manual?
ARP head studs

Considering that an upgraded MAP sensor is a real solution and a "missing link" is an invitation to disasterville, yeah, I'd say it's worth it

Right i think im learning, so i need a omni 4 bar map sensor.

And i dont need a FMU when im using a crome basemap p28.

I think ive decided on 440cc RC injectors aswell. Anyone know what fuel pressure i should be running?

your stock map will be fine, p28 with crome is good; if you have someone to tune it, 440 rc's are fine too....stock fuel pressure.

The kit doesn't look bad...maybe change the wastegate; wastegate placement on the manifold isn't the best either, it will cause boost spikes

Im getting my chip from Phearable.net. Hes tryin to tell me its tricky to make a basemap with the 4 bar sensor if im only boosting 6-8 psi. An hes sayin use the stock map sensor but i dont wanna do that after paying for an omni power. Should i just boost higher? will the car take it with stock internals?

if your only going to boost a max of 8psi....you can use the stock map sensor. You wont need the 4bar unless you plan on boosting over ~11.2psi (not sure if that the exact number)

you need to do a lot more research to learn what are good parts and bad parts.

seems like you just ebay'd a list up on there without any specifics.

on a stock motor, the 4 bar sensor is big time overkill for you.

obx are horrible. look into gettin a new head and rocker arms and possible motor once you slap those in and run them for a period of time

look towards blox, toda, skunk 2, crower, etcc

Okay, ive been looking at crower. Does it matter if i get stage 1 or 2? 2 is a bit cheaper for some reason.

What else will i need with these for the head? Ti springs? retainers? anything else?

Am i okay running stock cams for a while?
