Default hondata vs somehting else

im seeing one main problem w/ the hondata. i cant modify anything on the fly. ie id have to burn a new rom every time i wanted to change somehting. am i way off base w/ this theory? i was planning on boosting my 1.5L but wanted to run a dual setting boost controller, afc and ignition. i also want to be able to mod it on the fly. ive looked at the hond data and for a grand i can run stand alone everything. :shrugs:

I recommend Power FC...but you may have issues with the harness...

I too like the AEM EMS, I am getting it for my car seeing as I am staying SOHC it means I dont' have to do an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion. And I believe you can modify it on the fly if you buy the software and have a laptop.

Why not Zdyne? Lack of datalogging aside, it's a good standalone for the OBD0 crowd. You can run Hondata on your car (what is your car, btw) and no, you do not need to burn a chip every time you want to make a program change. You can run your car off of the emulator and make changes quickly until you are done tuning. When you make a change, you just download the changes into the emulator and away you go. It's fast, easy, and no chip burning is required. When you are done tuning, then you reburn your existing chip. Works for me.

Without the Datalogit software the PowerFC is a pain in the ***. Zdyne or AEM.
