hondata starting problems
hey well. i got my car tuned last week and now it has a problem starting once the car has sat for an hour or so. if i just crank it, it will take maybe up ot 10 cranks to turn over and start but it will start really low liek it wasnt getting fuel. you can say struggling to stay alive. but if i give it gas for liek 10 seconds, it idles down fine. my tuner said it probably needs more fuel to start the car as when i brought the car o him to get tuned, i was nowhere near a "cold" engine. ive also heard the evap solenod should be disconnected. give me some opinions before i go to the tuner. its a 2000gsr obd2-obd1 p72 conversion. walbro fuel pump 450cc dsm injectors, and hondata s200b

Re: hondata starting problems (SPNFEDEH)
no it didnt. its cranks pretty strong. just starts very slow to the point i need to press the gas. like i said, my tuner thinks it needs more fuel at startup sine we couldnt look at that since the engine wasnt cold. im taking it to him next wednesday but i wanted to get more opinions, hopefully poeple who had the same problem

Re: hondata starting problems (playahwitgame)
my buddies delsol does the same thing on the s300. once shes hot she doesnt like to start without giving it gas. its all in the coolant/air temp compensations arent tuned right it wont start right when hot and or cold. to fix the problem we just give it some gas and she stars fine
