Default Hondata S300

ok i just bought a s300 kit off ebay and my mechanic is saying it wont work for my car. I drive a 2000 civic si. Do i need a certain S300 for my car? Any help would be appreciated thank u.

you will need to convert back to a p28 or any obd1 vtec ecus. will need to get a jumper harness.

ok because he said it would be best if i sold it. I have e manage right now will i need a new ecu?

Is it just an S300 board or is it the S300 installed into an ECU? If its just the board you have to get the S300 board installed into an OBD1 ECU (p28,p72 etc) and then you need to get an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness and you are ready to be tuned.
