Default Choosing an ecu

I'm planning on going turbo soon and need some help understanding which ecu I need to get. As of now I've got my stock obd2 pr4 and want to upgrade to a hondata chipped ecu. From my understanding hondata is only compatible with obd1 ecus. With that being said I need to buy a virgin honda obd1 ecu and a conversion harness? Can I use just any Honda ecu or do I need a specific one?

Default Re: Choosing an ecu

The usual combo is a P28 ECU chipped for a Hondata s300 and an OBD2 to OBD1 ECU conversión harness. If you car is 96-98, you need a OBD2A harness and if it's 99-00, you'll need and OBD2B harness.
