Default Hondata quirk..

Ok.. i posted a while back about a random CEL that comes on with my s100b setup, but when I turn off the car and turn it back on again it doesn't store the code. Well now my speedometer just stopped working and the CEL is on but still doesn't get stored. Any ideas Hondata gurus?

Sounds like an unrelated problem to me... if the speedo stops working, it could mean that your speed sensor is gone. Does VTEC still engage or no?

Sorry if I'm off-track here, I'm just making a suggestion based on previous experiences... maybe someone else has some other ideas.

(BTW, cheap plug... if it IS the speed sensor, I have one for sale, check the sig. )

Vtec still engages fine. The car drives normal just no speedo.

Speedo problem sounds like a blown fuse...I had the same problem. Has nothign to do with Hondata.

Check the CEL before you turn your car off and then you can read the code.
