hondata question
i was looking at the hondata site. I dont quite understand how they work. Do you send in your ecu and then they program it to do what you want? How much roughly would it cost to get an ecu that was able to read up to 20psi and retard timing by itself. I know i will need a new 3 bar map, but how much is the hondata looking to be? what kind of options would you guys get on it and how much of an impact will they have. Again this topic is vague, i was just looking for an affordable system for the turbo zc. let me know what you guys think. thanks

hondata is use for fine tuning propose it just like a vafc but better fine tuning..the base system s200 w/boost is like around 495.00..it hook up to your old ecu and u take it to a hondata tuner and they will tune your car..I am getting mine next week and fine tune at IB by Jeff..if u plan to boost more then 11psi u have to get a 3bar map sensor.
I would just say get the basic one s200 w/boost ..and for tuning it pends..i am having mine tune at a very reputable shop down south of cali Import builder for 350 which sound reasonable..i am getting like a whole package from him tuning,s200 w/boost for 800 installed and tune..
