Default Hondata Q..

Ok.. I have finally seen the light and installed my hondata s100 w/boost today on my 00 Si. I have a couple of questions for you hondata people out there. First of all, will leaving my vafc hooked up affect anything if there are no fuel curve changes or anything done? Secondly, I was driving it earlier and while I was driving a CEL came on, but when I stopped to check it, it went right back off again and now is throwing no codes at all. So far it runs immensly better with just a simple basemap.

I don't know if your hondata model has it...but they use check engine lights as shift lights.

yeah.. I don't think its hooked up as a shift light and the light stayed on until I stopped and turned off the car. It just didn't get stored for some reason.

First off, if you have a HOndata, sell the VAFC. As soon as you get it tuned, the tuner will tell you to yank it off I am sure.

Yes, CEL is the shift light. I am sure what is why that is coming on.
