Default Hondata: Open or Closed Loop?

Hey...I have my hondata tuned and I had my tuner give me 2 chips....one with O2 sensor turned on the other off, all else the same as far as fuel maps and timing.

I was wondering how others were running theirs. Both run ok but the closed loop (O2 sensor turned on) seems to have a little bit more hesitation at lower rpms. Just wondering if maybe the ecu is trying to lean out too much. Runs ok, perhaps even a bit better in boost and higher rpms but I assume its open loop at that point anyway???

after its tuned and you like how it is. I suggest running on a close loop.

Yea, i did and thats what I'm finding. I wanna see if my fuel economy goes up but I am getting a little bit of hesitation. I'm assuming with the Hondata, resetting the ecu does nothing since you are running off the EPROM now?

I know this is an old *** post, but I have the same dilema now.

Car was just tuned. Runs great on open, but worried about fuel economy. Who runs what?
