Default Hondata help

Alright this is what I have:
s200b with the small demo disk that came with it
Ecu has been socketed and loaded with a basemap.

I need to be able to bring this to a tuner that does not have a dealer version of the software. What EXACTLEY do I need to tune my car? I am hearing the rom editor, programmer, and datalogging. The demo disk I received is has what appears to be the full version of the datalogger, even though hondata lists it as a $200 option.

With the money I have already spent in additional to all this other **** I might need, I could have went AEM EMS for around the same price.

Should have checked about Uberdata.... hondata to me equals overpriced. I had hondata too and swore by them until i had a problem that they would not help me with, tried uberdata and have loved it ever since.

you need to have datalogging enabled on your blue box, which is a 200 buck option.

Then you need to buy the romeditor software, another 200

plus you need a chip burner, you can buy the pocket programmer, or just buy a moates one like the uberdata guys use.

if you want real-time tuning, you will need the romulator.

http://www.wiredspeed.com has these things at discounted prices, as does ben@importparts.com

is there not any other tuners in the area with the necessary items?

you could go uberdata. Just have to sell the s200b. You have your ecu chipped already, so you just need to get teh datalogging cable and a chip burner.

The money isn't really the big problem. I mean hondata is a geat unit, but in the end it is still a "piggyback" device. Like I said, I could go AEM for around the same ending price and have a EMS with much better options.

Honda/uberdata are not piggyback devices, they change how the ECU opporates, not what signals it sees.
