I have a question? What can I do to get a hondata system for my accord? Note that it is a 97 accord OBDII LX car, with a 94 EX motor. I have a couple of ECUs (96 EX auto), (97 LX auto), (94 LX auto), (95 EX auto). My motor is almost done from the machine shop, so I be wiring the car back together soon, so i need some info. I wanted to run the boost stages of the hondata system, but i don't really know if they have a appication for my car or not. Any INFO would be help. *NOTE: my car is running a fmax T04B turbo with a NX kit* if that helps*

Congrats on your setup Sounds similiar to what I will be gettin. You should get the p28 ECU auto ahnd have Hondata work that one. If the motor is a 94 then you don't need the ODBII-ODB 1 harness. Get in on the groupbuy.

 

You will want to get the P28 ECU.

Unles you have modified the harness, you will need a harness adapter as well
since your car is a 97.

 

for my car i have a 94 accord vtec manual. would i have to get te p28 vtec manual or will any p28 work? i want to keep vtec also

 

any p28 will work.
if its an auto p28you will have to have it converted to 5sp

 

what stage of hondata with boost and what ecu to run with accord/h22 vtec? can i run stock p13 ecu? i went to hondata site and saw that ecu swap is p72 and p28. are these necessary to swap? i really dont wanna buy another ecu when i already have one. is there any way that i can use my stock h22 vtec ecu? but also let me know which one out of the three ecus are the best to run or tune with my setup (p13, p72, p28). im getting a drag turbo kit (t3/to4e) and hondata, 440cc, fpr, and feul pump. Which stage with boost of course, will be better and with what ecu? I am ready to get into this group buy.

 

P28 or P72 will work.
You cannot use your h22a ECU.

accord/h22 + DRAG turbo kit + p72 + 440cc + fpr+ pump + 8psi street + 12psi track.
no pistons, rods, sleeves, etc. for now. but later on will eventually build.

also what comes with the order of a hondata? is it just a chip? or do you get a laptop also? i dunno really, just curious to know what ill be getting.
