Hondata Datalogging without the interface box.Possible with ecu serial port???
I would like to know if I can use my hondata software using real time datalogging without the interface box? I came upon a site that shows you what to use to build a serial port on the side of your ecu.So you dont have to pop the cover everytime to datalog.Cost is $30 in electronic parts but well worth it since it look super clean.Im running a pwo ecu and Hondata 2.5v supports the pwo pr3 ecu's.I know most people are using uberdata with obd1 ecu's.I dont want to switch because I already have some 550cc peak and hold injectors and obd1 uses saturated. On top of all of it Id have to hack my harness again ripout the injector resistor box and buy a p30 or simlar ecu.

Nope. The hondata box has all the security stuff in it that the chip looks to verify so it wont work without that. Those pics are for the free Rom Editors (Uberdata, Crome, Turboedit) thats how you datalog with them.
