How hard is it to get a hondata basemap? I need one so I can get my car to the dyno, what all do I need to know about my set up to get the basemap done?

goto hondatas website, hit dealers

find one near u, give them a call to see if they burn basemaps, then send it to them or drive there, give them ur chip takes 2 mins to burn one, ur done. if u dont have one just but amtel 28 pin chip for like 6 bux online. i bought a pack for 5 for 20.

 

Yea, definitely not hard at all to find/get. Just call a hondata tuner shop or a dealer. If they can burn, then you can get a base map in less than 2 minutes literally haha.

 

Please be aware that many hondata dealers and tuners are careful these days about burning "base maps" for people. There is an inherent liability in doing something like this. Base maps are notorious for not working and being a potential setup for engine failure.

The best bet is to find a person to set up and tune your car and burn a worthy chip to run your car properly from the start.

 

indeed, dont get a basemap and think ur done, get it tuned, most hondata dealers have a dyno they tune at so get it done same day.

i had to get a basemap so i can drive the 3 hour drive it takes to get to the dyno.

 

yeah the only reason I need a basemap is so I can drive to the dyno.

 

did u find a dealer that can get u a basemap?

what motor, and injectors for a simple basemap to set up for tune

 

gsr motor and 880 injectors.

 

your local hondata tuner should then pull up a base map off your set up then burn
