Hondata or Accel DFI ????
I am turboing a 2001 ITR very soon.
I was planning on using a fmu, intank, 370cc and a VAFC to help manage fuel to prevent blowing up at around 8 psi.
Then i was thinking i am gonna want more boost and do it safely
Should i do an Accel DFI standalone
or
Hondata 2B
what do you guys think
Also does anyone know off hand the stock psi rating on a HKS Standard Wastegate
Thanks for replies ahead of time

They are both very good systems. The new DFI 7 is supposed to be extremely powerful and easy to use. However, in terms of support and user base, Hondata has it nailed. I think you're gonna be kind off on your own with a DFI in terms of easy access to help. Any form of engine management, no matter how simple, will require help.
My 2 cents...

I agree with sonny. I think the DFI, or any true standalone, is a great thing to have. I like to call Hondata the "Gateway" stand alone. In other words its a simple set up that is great plus it works awesome, and doesnt come with all those extra cool features like motec, dfi, haltech, and speed pro do.

go with Hondata2b. its simple and affordable. nevermind the fmu and blah blah blah. you just started your setup... do it right since u still have yet to get your fuel management done. spend the money on the hondata instead.
