Hondata+550's can't make more than 225-250whp!
You read it right. I had this discussion with a guy that owns an import shop in the central valley. I was educated on the subject. I was told that my car and Kaj's car didn't actually make 300+whp, because you can't make more than 250 "real" whp without a rising rate fuel pressure. So with my Hondata, 550's, SC34 turbo on my GSR I am only making 250 "real" hp. I am so depressed.
P.S. Now I just wonder how all the guys out there with cams and headwork and bolt ons on their GSR's are making near 200whp on 270's? I am so confused.

Yeah, I know I have "real" hp. I am just sharing quality information that is out there. Thanks for the replys guys.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add, he told my best friend H-T memer Ryan Autry, that with his 440's, he won't be able to make more than 220 Funny thing, couple years ago when Ryan dyno'd at Import Builders, w/a jackson, he made 220fwhp on the 440's at 60-65% duty cycle, with stock fuel pressure and Hondata
I guess the way it works it is you take the injector and divide by 2

Re: (FredoSP)
i made 295whp on 550's with 38psi at like 65% duty cylce.then we were making close to 400whp or so with the pressure jacked up to like 55 psi or soand again at like 65-70% duty cylce

oh gawd! vernon tried to feed me that crap too!!!!!lol I was so baffled by that dumb *** comment that I permanantly blocked it out of my memory. he had one valid point that each dyno is different, which I too believe may be true. but besides that he's got a stupid philosiphy on power.

LOL.....so true.
By the way, don't know if you saw the red Z28 LS1 at the races last night, but he came up on us when we left, and reved on me It was ugly, walked him 3-4 cars in 3rd gear. Then he had the nerve to try Jay(Kaj), which was worse-3 wide, Jay pulled me 3 cars, he stayed way back after that
Would have made great video if we were ready.

Re: (nigel)
in Vern's defence i'll say this:
he did say that the cc/2 thing is your whp with a conservative tune..
yeah.. like a 5:1 a/f ratio????
