We have tuned several cars on them without any issues.

That is weird considering they are all tested before being shipped from what I have been told.

Based on how many 3rd party companies supposedly make the GM 3bar, you're still better off with the Hondata/Omni 4bar. You can see any questionable sensors are replaced w/o any stress. Try to explain to the parts counter guys why you think your GM sensor doesn't read low vac or high boost all that well. They'll either laugh at you, or charge a 30% restocking fee.

They have worked out great for me. I've tuned many setups with them and havent had any issues. They also seem to be fairly accurate in comparison to our dyno map sensor.

actually it does work from what I understand, you just have to use romeditor4 instead of the previous romeditor3. romeditor4 had custom map sensor support added so you can configure for a multitude of previously not supported sensors.

until I upgraded to the s300, I had originally debated using the new version/ s200 temp. never had to though.

I've had one on my car since they came out. I have not had an issue. I've seen as much as 37psi on the logs and the car make ~800whp.

Im bringing this back fomr the dead for the simple fact that Im not getting the help I need from Hondata. My 4 bar DOES NOT read correct boost and Im sure all the people that's having this issue are not crazy. When I hit 9lbs the hondata 4 bar only reads 4 to 5 lbs of boost in the hondata S300. I had NO issues with the GM 3bar I was using. My car went from 11.5 AFRs from 1lb of boost to 17AFRs at 9lbs of boost. Iv'e tried tuning and tuning with no positive results. I know what someone will say, "you need to tune your car!" I was running over 20lbs of boost on the GM 3bar no problem self tuned. Also, I datalogged with the S300 and with my zeitronix software with the MAP sensor voltage readout. As the boost rises on the Zeitronix readout, the MAP sensor voltage fails to rise and it just sits at 1.39Volts. The vaccuum reads perfect, but it's just something about the boost area that's not reading right. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also I was wondering if Omni tests their MAP sensors on boosted vehicles also? Im looking for any help I can get. Thanks!

I have the Hondata 4bar on my car, and it is working perfectly at 30+ psi.. I've used them on numerous cars that I've had on the dyno with no problems, and the readings match that of the dyno pressure sensor.. Have you considered sending it in for testing?

I think that's what I will have to do. but then they probably might charge me for that. I would have hoped that after spending all that money on a MAP sensor, it should have came working. But Im wondering why are other people having the same exact issue? I could have understand if the issues were different, but it's the same exact symptom.

ok i have to retract my statement. My 4bar took a **** on me a few weeks back mine was reading 44psi at idle and of course would not start the car. I just wanted to give him hell....lol

I talked with Omniman and there a few batches out that have bad silicone on them. funny this was bumped I will have him explain what was explained to me.

Since the Hondata map works so well in the stock location, would I have a problem running my GM 3bar using the that same vac source on the throttle body?
