Hondata 4 Bar
Has anyone used it? I've noticed there have been problems with the omnipower one and wanted some insight if anyone has used this map sensor on a bseries. Was going to get an omnipower but after reading the bad reviews im leaning towards the hondata.

Not sure who has had problems with their omnipower map, but mine has been working just fine. I'm pretty sure its the same sensor minus the labeling.

These work great, i use them all the time. It makes life easier when customers comein for tunes and you dont have to wire things in.

Re: Hondata 4 Bar (miller)
forgive my ignorance, but is that the new hondata 4 bar, or do they have a 5 bar one that is new? regardless, whichever one is the newest hondata map sensor, it about made my motor blow up. it was reading around 10 psi and actually boosting more around 20+. we swapped that one for my old gm 3 bar and had no problems. be weary...

It sounds like you don't know what you are doing. I've used several of these on a lot of 500whp set-ups flawlessly.

im a project manager/leed ap. so no, i dont know what i'm doing. i have RLZ Engineering do all of my work and i'd say they have a pretty good grasp on this stuff. maybe the sensor was faulty, but the OP requested feedback so there is my .02 from experience with it.

Re: Hondata 4 Bar (XxRoCkMaNxNEOxX)
Just discovered tonight that if you use the omni or hondata 4 bar map sensor on the stock location on a Bdl throttle body it sits upside down on thee throttle body and oil gets inside of it. The solution is to mount it free and leave the factory one unplugged. I guess there are flaws in any product but there are always to make it better.

that could have been my issue. mine was mounted in the factory location and that is when the problems started. however, mine wasnt on more than 10 minutes and this happened within the first 2 pulls on the dyno.

arent these map sensors meant to be installed in the stock location?

Re: Hondata 4 Bar (xsi-t)
i made this thread to see if there were different responses. I saw that thread and decided to bring both vendors in the mix. Yes if i paid 130 bucks for that i would def. want it to be where they say it is suppose to be. Are these made from the same place just different name?
