Hondas not worth it?
OK I faaly realized why all the v8 guys flame us. I just bought a 2000 gt for 10,500 leather the works. I ordered my powerdyne supercharger. should in next week. Im estimating 450whp and high to mid 11 sec on street drag ridals. all this for a low price on less that 15000. can I say less. Its just to expensive to make a honda run 11's on street tires and still be fully loaded. I mean I love the looks and sound of a turbo honda but the only prob is fwd I wish the were rwd

its no secret that V8s are faster at drag than a honda (in general !!)
too many people drag racing is not be all end all. I dont mod my car to get a timeslip...i simply like driving it, and i can tell you i have 93486534099865 X more fun driving my honda than i do V8s.

Isnt that the truth also. The imports handle better than any v8s out there thats for sure.

i drove a camaro SS once...the chassis is so big and heavy, the steering felt really sloppy to me....and WOW the gear box felt like serious as$, i could hardly tell what gear i was in, or whether i was in a gear at all
dont get me wrong i like plenty of american cars...just not my style

Only domestic I would see myself in is a Z06. Beautiful car and AWESOME handling and great f-in power band, best car I have driven in a while. But again you spend 50k.. You get what you pay for simple as that.

I don't like the v-8 and v-6 I see around here too much. But that BMW M3 rodster has got my eye...along with the Mini and drop a M3 motor in there.
Out of all the cars I have driven the most fun...other than my Honda was my Alfa Spider...that Alfa would out handel 99% of the stuff on the street...and it was a little 2L 4 banger rear wheel drive also. But I miss her too much.
