Default homemade SC setup.

Hello guys me and a friend want to make a custom SC setup for my B18b. We would like to use a M62 eaton blower from a Pontiac Bonneville, are there the same as the JRSC kit? will it work cause i know that a m90 should not work.

Thank you guys!

The M62 will have to be opened up and the rotors reversed to spin the opposite way. M90 is not as easy to reverse.

Kind of. A honda motor spins opposite from most other cars. Well until recently.

Roger McDaniels had an M90 reversed, but it also requires modding the nose section and redrilling to less than .001" to keep it from eating itself. He said you need a specific jig to pull it apart correctly. Here's the thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/anyone-interested-500-whp-supercharger-kit-1997913/

Someone else here also ran an M90 completely reverse - the outlet and inlet basicly got swapped since they just hooked a belt to it w/o any changes. It worked but even the engineers couldn't predict how well (never tested).

Other than that, its not hard. You just need a working vacuum bypass. You could put it where the A/C used to be like Roger, use an FMIC, and a normal intake manifold.

i was going to say user rmcdaniel could help you more than anyone else since he has first hand knowledge i want to see someone put a m112 or a kennebelle blower on a honda
the kennebell would make the car feel like a v8 that could rev to the moon

i just couldn't imagine a honda with a 2.8l kenne bell blower on a honda i think the 2.8 blower is capable of 800+ whp on a stock cobra other than built bottom end STOCK HEADS and you know they don't flow anything like honda heads do hell no other car company's do other than acura which is honda..........i wonder what car company has the next best flowing stock heads?
that would be REALLY INTERESTING TO SAY THE LEAST
but they are expensive but not much more than a 700whp+ bb turbo and supercharger would make a hellouva much better power curve than the 700+bb turbo

i don't know if that it is even possible to put a kenne belle on a honda but i mentioned it to rmcdaniels and he just said it was expensive he never mentioned anything about it working or not

imagine a supercharged sfwd car the only problem i see to trying to do this for massive power is i don't know if you could some how get creative to make a boost by gear setup because if this was don it would be making probably 300 more whtq than a turbo setup that would make the same power and it would make here is a dyno of that blower on a cobra i just don't know what a honda would do with all the torque it would make but it would make an awesome mod to a s2000 IMHO the downside price is between 3-5k

heres a dyno of that blower on a cobra
it wouldn't attach it
i don't like this new format the old one was fine and i didn't see a reason to upgrade if thats what you want to call it

here is the dyno http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...tockShelby.gif

all that torque may e a problem on a fwd sfwd car haha

They make a 2.1 also. I guess anything is possible. Contact them to see if the can be made to spin the other way. Other than that I know nothing of these blowers. Maybe Roger knows.

Someone on here has done this? Used the inlet as the outlet and visa versa? I guess that works in theory... but how well it works is what i want to know. anyone know where this can be found? i want to do a b20 with a custom SC setup using an M90. this would give me some more options.
