Homemade remote switch for Profec B

Anyone ever tried to make their own remote switch for their Profec B?

Hate to spend >$100 for just a pushbutton and a +12V signal (if thats what it is).

Curious.

i think the 12 v harness is for extra option like nos

Is the connector a mini jack plug like a microphone or earphone jack?

Does anyone have the switching kit?
