1.8 d16z6? What do you have done to your motor?
I'm also in San Diego.
I'm waiting on d16z6 block to get done with .020 overbore with JE pistons (Stock compression) Where would that put me? 1.7?

10 is awesome.. wait till you hit 14 some day...
I spiked once to about 12 one day and it felt a little better compared to 10..
carefull or you'll be rebuilding or replacing it...

I don't think I will ever see over 10. Can't afford to build the motor.
I'm hoping to hit 12's on street tires at 9 psi.

Right on. Did you get a boost controller? I think I rember you talking about only boosting 3-4 psi and it was kinda weak.

yeah i have a manual boost controller... i turned it down to 8 psi. i didnt detonate at all at 10psi but i dont know if my car will last long like that.
on a different note, i helped my auto teacher fix his website and he agreed to dyno my car next week! its going to be sucky though because my cat is like 2" or less and the rest is crush bent 2.25". maybe i can get a run in open-downpipe.

i had my turbo spiked to 12 and it was pretty cool. the only bad thing was that my intercooler piping blew off the throttle body .
