yes, the HKS is a great bov. It depends a lot on your setup, but mostly the bov is personal preference. Sound, performance, appearance are three things i went by when choosing. If you like an extremely loud one, go w/ RFL(really ******* loud) or for a nice smooth sound, go w/ the Greddy type S or RS. Either way, the HKS SSQV is great, just never seen because of where its mounted right next to the IC. Good price btw.

Get a Greddy Type RS if you want to be heard.

the hks will be more than ok for that amount of boost. I love my ssqv, i don't think i'd want anything else, i just really like the sound of it. Mine kinda just pssh's at <4 psi, then around 6 it lets off the nice chirp sound. Now only if i could rev higher than 5 grand.

I have an older style HKS BOV. It is the super rare one, and it's even the uber rare gunmetal. It would fit the same style flange as the SSQ. I'd sell it to ya for 100 shipped...

werd. say that again? lol

for real though, the TurboXS RFL bov is extremely loud if you really want to heard. Other than that, the HKS is perfect for your application!

You can pick up a new one for like $200+. $140 shipped is a good price if its in good condition. HKS SSQB is a awesome valve. One of my favorite but the new Greddy RS is adjustable. Depends on the budget you're on, but the SSQV will definitely work. Good luck.
