I was running 5lbs with the HKS SSQV and it sounded very nice at max boost!! You can adjust the loudness also.

Its like a high pitch whistle. There is a bolt in the back that you turn to adjust it. I like the greddy type s better actually. I wanna trade my hks ssq for a greddy...

I hate the sound of the HKS SS BOV- had one got rid of it- sounds like a big chirp/whistle. No thanks, when I think of a turbo car BOV sound, it should be a rush of air sound like a bus when it comes to a stop. Blitz's new DD BOV rocks- sounds sweet. But hey that's just my opinion.

I had an HKS SS, didn't like it. I got a greddy type S now. Greddy type S makes a laseri'sh sound.

Here's a site where you can download and listen to the sounds of different BOV's.

OMG!!! That Turbo XS with the horn is LOUD!!!! Other than that the Blitz one sounds tight(similar but quite a bit quieter) and that weird one i never heard of sounds similar too... HKS is too weird(high pitched whistling)... GReddy sounds like a traditional BOV...

I would love the Turbo XS one but I am sure that if its that loud at idle, then it will be louder when driven... and i know a cop will not appreciate it. I think Blitz would probably be my pick. (though i am tempted to get the turbo XS)
