someone is selling me his hks ebc. is there a way for me to know if that thing is still in good working condition? the ebc didn't came off his car, it was smuggled from japan together with other turbo parts to where i live.

one more thing, is greddy manual boost controller a good buy?

the only thing i can think of is giving it 12v and ground...and plug in the solenoid...if it reads 0.00 then you 'should' be ok...i bought one off the net once and when i got it the readings were TOTALLY off...bad solenoid.

 

is the solenoid repairable or should be replaced?

 

it should be replaced...i had to contact HKS to get a new one.
