i was wondering,when i boost my b16 is it going to be safe to take my motor up to red line.I know this sounds like a very general question but im kinda worried that i wont be able to wind out my motor. im only going to push 7.5 lbs of boost on stock internals. i know its all about tuning but does this sound ok to do?

 

Yes, as long as the tune is good you can take your car to redline anytime you want. Just like any car though don't do that all the time, it's not the best to be doing that from stop light to stop light

 

i understand, thanks. i do kinda have a heavy foot. oh well you think payong $400 to get my valves adjusted would teach me a lesson
