You should be fine. Do a comp test and if everything checks out then throw 7-8psi at it and you shouldn't have any problems. Just be sure that you have it properly tuned.

use the search button as well and try differnt keywords like mileage, high mileage, 100k+, and things like that that or leak down, compression test. You will learn a lot that way.
As cnydc2 said if the numbers check out on those tests you may boost away and keep a good tune
