Default hiding turbo and others

Has anyone ever boosted and was able to hide the turbo and blow off valve so when people open the hood, the engine bay would either look stock or non-boosted(intake/header etc..). Please post your ideas.

Heatshields... or you can always mount them near your rear wheel like the camaro guys are doing, lol.

You may be able to fool people if you got a custom manifold that hung really low, then you may utilize a headshield. To hide your bov, check our full-races IC backdoor design. or the STS kit like precisionh23a said
IMO, its a waste of time and energy

I run internal gate therefore my manifold has nothing to run external gate. Also, I welded the bov to the lower part of the charge pipe. I was going for the comptech icebox intake look.

expensive.

i was thinking about using stock heatshield and welding it to the manifold, then doing a comptech icebox with the blow off valve inside of it.

One of my friends did a "hidden" turbo kit on a civic before. It used a dc header and mounted the turbo down low between the oil pan and firewall. I believe it was non intercooled and had a very small charge pipe going up to the throttle body. Then there was an old intake pipe cut up to fit to look like a normal intake. The kit was made for one of his customers, and I never heard any progress after it was done.

Thanks.

There is no sense in clogging the forum with an 8 year old, pointless thread
