Here's what i got... which to go with...
OK, I've got an EF Sedan, with stock 1.5L DPFI. I want to do a turbo setup on a custom build. At my house, i have a B18a1 block, head, and IM; and a D16z6 block, head, and IM; both ready for machine work.
For the D16, ive got LS rods (shotpeen), Vitara Pistons (8.5:1), and Hastings rings.
For the B18, ive got Wiseco Coated pistons (9.5:1) and rings, and a RevHard equal length Manifold.
For either one, ive got an EVO3 FMIC, and TurboXS Type-S BOV.
So basically i have the same pieces for either build. My dilemma is:
1. Would it be better to sell my B-series stuff and buy all the D-series stuff i need? I could easily sell the Wiseco pistons and RevHard mani, and probably pay for the rest of my D buildup...
2. Or should i sell all the D-series stuff and buy the B-Series stuff??
As far as the D goes, i could run a smaller turbo internally gated (less $$), and a HF mani. For the B, i will need to buy some tough rods, and probably a more costly turbo, and possibly a wastegate.
What do you all think i should do, go with the B? or the D? Thanks for all input, and advice.

Re: (AFFIRMED)
I would like to see low to mid 13s
Im kind of leaning towards the D, since i already have trans, clutch, etc...
I really just wanna get some feedback on what you all think. I know this is my build, but im one of those people that needs to be nudged in the right direction.
Thanks

If all you want is mid to low 13's then go with the d16. My friend made a 13.8 pass in denver with 450 dsm inj 16g turbo and vafc with open diff on slicks with a 98 coupe
