With the dollar being so bad right now, im looking to avoid purchasing from the US. I get raped by UPS, border fees and the exchange.
I ordered something last week that was 288US my cost and it ended up being 500$ by the time I got it here.

Unless you ship via USPS and the price is right.

i don't know any distributors you can try but i found that even though the dollar is doing poor it will still probably be cheaper to order from the US....i find our canadian distributors have to mark up the prices so much more to make any profit due to the exchange rate...

im with you about UPS and their stupid fees. its been a few years since i had anything shipped from them they suck *** and i wish they would just go out of buisness. find a vendor willing to ship USPS...if you can't try a diffrent vendor.

No point of trying to stay with Canadian supplies.. Where do alll these parts come from? The US... Unless you are buying a Canadian-made clutch, all the prices you'll get is based on the current US dollar.

Even if you do find some good prices, usually they are misprints, or they will give you the "oh, that was our old price list.."...

Just ask the seller to write a note on the customs form, I have seen it done all the time. have the seller write "Sorry you sent me the wrong part it did not fit, here it is, im shipping it back to you"
They wont charge any customs fees on your own property. wink wink

that might work. but most vendors are afraid to do that. they think they will go to prison or the item will get lost/damaged/stolen.

I'm pretty sure he isnt concerned so much about the shipping cost, but more so the U.S to Cdn exchange rate.

OP you have a pm.
