Default help with turbo setup

aight, i knowthis may be a bash fest, but oh well i need questions answered. i jsut picked up an xs power turbo kit. it is used, and the guy who had it before sold the oil feed and return lines. what i need to know is what kit should i buy to fit the t3/t4 turbo? also, what manual boost controller do you guys suggest? i have also read that people suggest getting an oil restrictor. which should i get and where does it go on the turbo? pictures will help on anything where it may be necessary.

ps. i am using moroso pretapped oil pan, will that make the fitting size different for the return line?

thanks for all the help in advance, and please lets not bash on the kit. it is braced well, and was used for a year on another car without cracking.

No need to bash, you've already done it to yourself.

Stevemode will steer you right on what you need.

the kit came with a real tial 38mm wastegate and a real blitz dual drive blow off valve, those parts alone cost almost as much as i paid for the whole kit, plus it came with a chipped and tuned p28, so that witht eh wg and bov cost as much as i paid for hte full thing.

too bad the tuned p28 wont work for you.. youll stilll need to tune to get everything how it needs to be.

any manual boost controller will work.. Idont really like them very much, id rather have an electronic.

the oil restrictor goes anywhere before the turbo, but keep in mind if you put the oil restrctor before the stock oil sending unit and oil pressure gauge, then the pressure sent to those will be reduced as well, because anything after the oil restrictor gets reduced to what the restrictor is meant to restrict to, so I would just put it right before the turbo.

so does the restrictor screw into the turbo and the oilfeedline? also, i know the ecu needs to be retuned, there is a local guy that is very good on crome, im gunna have him put a street tune on it til i can get a dxyno tune.

so the cheap like 25 dollar ones on ebay will work for a manual boost controller?
