Default HELP with turbo LS/Vtec!!

Well i just bought a LS/Vtec for little to nothing. The bottom end is off a 95 LS with about 90miles on it. The head is off a 99si. I'm planing on boosting it and i don’t think the LS bottom end will last too long stock with that many miles on it. I would like some ideas of what i should get for it, what kind of pistons and all the goodies. I'm planing on boosting around 12psi at the track and 7psi for daily driving. Can some one help me out give me web sites where i can get more info if you can’t help.

Thanks Shane

IN my LS I am going to throw in some JE pistons and Crower rods, ARP bolts and a Crower valvetrain. HTH Do a search for Eagle rods, I think someone was selling them for $325 in here somewhere.

Do yourself a favor and put some boost-friendly pistons, rods, blockguard and ARP head studs before you go boosting it. Turbo LS/VTEC motors will make power stock, but don;t last long at all. A friend of mine went through a few blocks (cracking sleeves and shattering rods).

Just my 2 cents.....
