Default help! switched to aem wideband gauge type controller...

I had my car tuned with the aem wideband controller, idle, and high boost was very smooth. Than switched to the aem wideband o2 controller gauge type than everthing went haywire, idles at 2000 RPM, and hesistating under boost.

What can cause this? Do I need to RETUNE now that the new gauge type is installed?

They are both the same wideband controllers, just one is the new gauge type....weird

thoughts?

I'll have to ask my tech. He installed everything according to the instructions.

this sux...the gauge looks really nice, might have to ditch it and go back to the original controller

somtins miswired, no way just installing the wideband would throw off your maps

Tuning was done on Monday, the AEM gauge type wideband was installed on Wednesday. I had the car back on Friday, drove around and was low boosting than the wastegate came loose, than idle shot up to 2000 RPM...

went back to shop on Saturday and got the wastegate re-tightened, idle still at 2000 RPM after wastegate was re-tightened and was hesistating under boost later that night.

Could it be the fast idle valve or IAC controller or the maps is/got messed up? The high end driveability was fine until the wastegate issue, and now low end idle and drivability and and high end boosting is messed up.

help!
