A positive displacement blower will make boost faster than a turbo and a centrifugal blower will make boost slower than either. With that being said a supercharger takes power to make power, you could have to deal with belt slippage, and is more stress on the snout of your crank.

A turbo would be the "easiest" on your motor over any other form of forced induction.

 

Yea probably blow the welds on the intake.

i had a buddy that sprayed a 100 shot in his d series crx. never blew it up. a 100 shot is doable on a b series. just needs to be tuned. and when i say tuned i mean start learning how to read plugs. nitrous is different than a turbo or supercharger, cant just trust the wideband when it looks likes the afr is fine.

 

When people say they sprayed something and didnt blow it up. Does that mean they sprayed it a few times or a few months or for years? I dont even know if nitrous is something you use once in a while or if its safe to use all the time like boost from turbos and blowers..

 

These are all extremely noobish questions. The main reason you caught so much **** at the start of your thread is because you're asking these dead simple questions, when you claim to have these other cars that, in the process of building, you should have already learned the answers to your questions on.

Yes, we regularly skip the niceties. Why? Because we're pretty frequently slammed with absolute ******* idiots who expect us to spoon feed them "the perfect setup" with absolutely no context or background. Sometimes, people with good intentions get caught in the crossfire. **** happens. It's the cost of being one of the largest Honda forums in existence. There are plenty of grizzled veterans in here. There's a few industry professionals. There's a couple guys who live on the track. Hang out for more than the couple weeks you have, search, and read some things, and you'll quickly learn who those people are.

Get James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman to record it, then listen to it while you drive to work. it a fourth time on your lunch break. Listen to it again on your ride home. Read it a fifth time, and by now, you might grasp the huge amount of information that has been organized and handed to you on a silver platter.

That FAQ covers all forms of FI, including spray. Yes, the H-T search function is absolute ****. A much better option is to use Google. Just type in what you're searching for, and add "site:honda-tech.com" at the end of it, without the quotation marks.
