Help with setting my ignition timing?
My buddy and I are going to set the ignition timing on my car tonight. I was looking around and I cannot see a mark on the crank pulley or the timing marks for BTDC. Am I missing these? Can anyone tell me where to look or post up some pics? It's an Integra LS B18B1. Thanks!

Re: Help with setting my ignition timing? (spoolin_teg)
You need a timing light, point it towards the crank standing infront of the engine. There will be a pointer on the black plastic cover on the motor right next to the crank. Use the pointer and the timing light to align the center mark with the pointer. Move the distributor until the center mark is aligned (16 btdc). Get the Haynes manual at your local hardware store as you will need it if you will be working on the car. THe Helms manual is much better and more detailed but it costs like $65 (it is worth it). I have both as the Haynes has little tricks and short cuts.

Re: Help with setting my ignition timing? (drintegra)
ok so is the car drivable after you rotate the distributor
My timing skipped a tooth and I lined up the Crank TDC, then checked the timing with a gun and the white line on the crank is off. I rotate the dizzy to fix that right??
