Hey guys, i'm sure you get this all the time but I could really use some help.
i want to piece together a turbo for my b16, here's what i got so far:
turbo manifold
t4/t3 turbo
tial wastegate
greddy type s
air filter assembly
downpipe(can they be custom made?????)
FMU
Walbro Pump

My questions are:
Do I need an intercooler with this setup if I'm only running 6psi??
What else do I need??
What should I do with the ecu(greddy blue box???, can't do hondata no place to tune it)
Please help me out guys, I appreciate all opinions.
Also, if you can show me your setup that would help too. Thanks alot guys!!!

well, since nobody else seems to want to be helpful...

Personally I feel that an IC isnt necessary until 9+ psi...
Now, keep in mind that I said, "necessary"... Because they are always good to have, but not required at your boost level...

 

Whether or not you need an intercooler depends on turbo efficiency... you need to plot your efficiency map. Remember heat kills engines... intercoolers remove heat.
