Default HELP PLEASE? built engine - car won't start now.

ideas from anyone would help. i run a custom turbo set up with an LS engine. i just got everything revamped and upgrades most internals with the exception of cams. ran the turbo kit before i took out the engine

symptoms
- car wont start. turns over, idles at around 500-600 then dies.

things it could be
- major vaccum leak? - boost gauge reads 0 while car running. usually all i would get is a check engine light though but im not sure.
- running way too rich? - when i put on my fuel cut security system it revs up to 4000rpm and then dies as it should. A/F guage stays on high green ( rich ) but i don think it's accurate casue the car can never warm up before it dies.
-something to do with the computer? my car was sitting there for along time. batttey charged though.

things it is not
- timing - my cam timing is right. wether i advance it or retatrd it, hte car should still run right?
- fuel system - boost dependant regulator and fule pressure regulator working. gauge giving accurate readings.
-engine internals - everything sounds smooth anyways.
-check valves working

if anyone could give any suggestions it would be a great help.
thank you

the boost gauge should not be at zero if the engine is running. it should fall as soon as the engine fires up. this is a common problem whenever working on engines.

good luck.

check recheck, then check again, then verify, then ask someone to check your work.

i meant the common problem is a vacuum leak.

You boost/vacuum gauge reads 0? or is it just a boost gauge?

Whats the rest of the setup? Not really enough info here.

Does it idle really rough? It almost sounds like its not running on all 4.

would a minor hole cause the engine to fail? or you think this a major leak somewhere.? if it is a leak i guess it's just a matter of going throuhg the hoses.

it's my boost gauge that reads 0. not my vacum gauge...but aren't they the same?
it is running rough idling varies around +75 -75 rpm. i thought spaark plugs but i checked all of them and and the order too.
im guessin vacume leak.

when idle your boost gauge should either be at -550 mm/hg or 18-20 on standard ( autometer )

Sounds like you hooked your spark plug wires up in the wrong order.

Where is the boost gauge hooked up? If it's not on the intake manifold, you'l lnever see vacuum....

Once you've got the boost gauge hooked up by t-ing it off the FPR or something in that area <not the Map sensor or anything PRE-TB PLATE, please> I'll try to help more... COuld be backwards plug wires, bad Injectors, orVERY bad tune...

ANy idea what base Fuel Pressure is right now?
