Default Help! Overheating a bit running the afc hack!

Just got done doing an install.. car runs pretty good.. a little rich at idle i think.. but it's at -50% so we can't do anything about that.. it's not too bad once it's warmed up.. but the car overheats.. it's a crx with a b16a in it.. we put a pusher fan on the radiator but maybe it's not enough? or maybe we need a lower thermostat.. anyone have this problem? It starts to heat up to above normal temps then flies down .. i think once the fan kicks on maybe... not exactly sure what's up.
