You can instead go to a remote oil setup. Perma cool makes a remote oil setup with a two filter housing. You can then cross reference the filters and buy the biggest ones that will fit. You will get more oil capacity with the two larger filters and your oil will have less resistance going through two filters. Then dual filter mount has two extra plugged sections one before and one after the oil is filtered. You can use a pressure gauge to get your true oil pressure after the oil filter and a sensor in other for oil temperature.

I have a explorer and run a dual remote setup with two full flow filters and a bypass filter feeding off of the dual filter housing. I have a mechanical pressure gauge setup to read the after filter oil pressure.
I think the oil in a turbo should be clean as possible and running two filters will give you more oil capacity.
If you go to baldwinfilers.com you can cross reference your current filter and get a longer one. It is a good way to get more oil in your engine. It also allows more surface area for filtering the oil, which means less back pressure at the media.
