Default help o2 question

hey sup guys yes i did a search. My car boggs alot would a o2 sensor cause this?

I would point to over/under fueling and spark plug gap before I looked at O2 sensors.

Your CEL will tell you if the O2 sensor is bad.

You ever been to a dyno?

my ngk 2 step colder plugs are gapped at .030 and im running a 255 walbro intank and a B&M fpr and 12.1 FMU. plugs are very black which means im running really rich. could this be the problem?

Yep. I was running so rich when I dynoed that their wideband couldnt pick it up.

It was falling on its face under boost.

dyno tune it it..and lean that out.

Bogging would not be caused by a faulty o2 sensor, because your engine is relying on the MAP sensor at high-throttle. it only uses the o2 for idle and cruising (and people use it for a bit of tuning). you are probably running too rich. the sparkplug gap would probably cause your power to fall off up top, not bog down low, I believe.

thanks for the ehlp i fix my problem. got a b&m and turned down the fuel and now everythigns working great thanks guys
