i have t3/t4 turbo, everything has been working fine since i put it on. today i got in the car and went down the road and it wouldnt build boost. i took it in the shop check all the piping and then tighting all clamps any ways. wastegate stays closed and bov closes. when i get on it you hear a whisleing nosie. but its not the kind of noise you hear when the piping blows off. its and diffent kind of noise the turbo is not leaking any oil. there is little to no shaft play. any one have any ideas. could the turbo be blown.

What kind of snail you got? If its some no-name eBay special, unbolt it from your manifold and IC piping and throw it in the trash! If its a namebrand turbo and you are DAMN sure it working, then check your bov and boost controller.

 

check that turbo out and check for shaft play.
