A question, I have a problem with my car, what happens is that when I walk below 6000 rpm the car pulls well, it only goes beyond 6000 rpm, which is when the vtec is activated and starts to throw explosions and no longer move on ... It moved over time and improved a bit a few days, the intake and sensors pull well. I have 50 lbs on the gas regulator and 10 lbs to the turbo with all stock, the car was pulling perfectly days ago
Someone who had the same thing happen and how they solved it..?
You could try tightening up that gap, although I don’t feel to confident about it. It would at least rule it out. At 10lbs anyways I’d imagine that that should be sufficient. As I run my car at .025.
Im curious as to what EMS are you using? And do you have the ability to read data and data log? I’d do a run and get it acting up while your recording, and go back and see if any errors are coming up or any sensor is going Haywire while in vtec. Or even a timing/vtec engagement issue itself.
I have managed to fix my problem, it was the spark plugs, my engine had hot plugs which are "ngk iridium" and I put some "ngk bkr7" plugs cold and my problem was solved both are at 0.030Thank you very much for commenting and helping
