Discoonect the plug for the iac and you will need a volt meter. Turn car on and see if there is 5volts. If there is voltage your wires are good.

vaccum leak - make sure you cleaned off all the old gasket material.

throttle cable too tight

adjust idle screw

IACV fix/rewire?

i almost know what it is, your stock intake manifod on the y7 was a down draft pile and you upgraded, and your ecu isn't recognizing the increased airlfow so its idleing high. mine did the same thing only i put a throttle body spacer on. good luck man!

Y7 and Z6 throttle body is the same diameter. How will a throttle body spacer affect idle?
