Default Help me spend lotsa cash!!

Hey guys...need some advice: I'm gonna be adding a few things to my setup in the spring. I need some advice on what to buy. Here's what I need:

Intake manifold
Cams
Cam gears
Clutch and Flywheel
Axles
Headgasket
Exhaust

I have the following setup:

95 GSR Motor and tranny
9:1 JE pistons
Blockgaurd
Zex plugs
Zex inline
9:1 Vortec FMU
Garret T04E Turbo
Turbonetics Wastegate
Spearco intercooler

Everything else is stock and has less than 5000 miles. Please give opinions on brands and types of products to buy. Thanks.

But before you do anything else you should ditch the FMU and get Hondata or AEM or something better than an FMU.

Get some NGKs first, and get some proper fuel management! AEM or Hondata!

Intake manifold- skunk 2 or type r w/ type r throttle body
Cams-type R
Cam gears-stock. (adjustable one are useless. we set ours at 0)
Clutch and Flywheel-tilton dual disc if you have money to waste.
Axles-drive shaft shop stage 3 atleast
Headgasket-stock
Exhaust- open if you can get away with it.
Plugs-ngk 4091 heat range 7
Engine management (hondata or Haltech) By the way papdakis doesnt even use the AEM EMS in his own car. Its garbage!!!

If you have lotsa money, like 10k to spend, send me half. If you have less than 10k, send it all to me. See there, you can spend it all in one swipe.

may i ask why, how much power do you make? I can't stand when people say get rid of the fmu. I make 326hp and 221ft lbs of torque to the wheels using an fmu setup. Only boosting 10psi and using a stock head.

EDIT: I also wouldn't ditch it for the hondata, i'd go for haltech. But to keep it nice and streetable, the fmu setup is fine and with bigger injectors going in hopefully this week, we'll make 400 to the wheels.

Nice and streetable you can't beat Hondata. Haltech is a nice system and very streetable also, but it also cost more then hondata. Well in any event with either one of these systems you can ditch the fmu. I hate fmu's, pick up a nice aeromotive fpr.

Have a nice day!

It's not about power it's about reliability. Low fuel pressure plus large injectors is more reliable than high fuel pressure and smaller injectors. But both will work.

Can't agree more! GET RID OF THEM! I ran them for a month and was wondering why I wasn't making much power...well....I switch to NGKs and NO comparison and the Zex plugs were going to probably melt soon...ick.

I thought the place that built your car guaranteed you like 400 hp already or something like that. Anyway, how are you tuning your gargantuan injectors and fmu setup?

They said I could reach 400whp once I added the proper parts and spent some time on the dyno...
