Help me pick camshafts :-)
I'm running a GT3076R around 20 psi. Bottom end is a Darton sleeved B18c1 with Eagle Rods and Wiesco Pistons. Head is a B16a2 with Manely Race series valves and springs/retainers kit.
Compression should be around 9.3:1 and I will be using a Water/Meth injecton system. Going to be tuned on Hondata s300 with Injector dynamics 1000 cc with a upgraded fuel rail and adjustable regulator and 255 Walbro.
I want to keep it under $400 and I found these options in this price range:

I don't know all that much about camshafts, but what I do understand is less duration is better for boosted engines? Can someone advise me on what would be the best choice for the most power, I am hoping to reach 500 WHP.
Thank you!

For a price range of $400max, I'd go with the Edelbrock 4730 cams or a used set of GSC T1 cams.
Then again, if you're only looking to top out at 500hp, stock GSR and Type R are more than enough.

First and foremost, I'd definitely consult with Mac or Derek to see if the Tuner 1s are too big for the GT30R.
If it's sound you want then you're going at it all wrong. Just cuz you have a built head doesn't mean you can or need bigger cams for your setup. Your build and turbo setup have to work hand in hand. I learned this the hard way years ago when i was still on a Greddy turbo kit. Just like you I wanted loud vtec with boost. In the end I couldn't make power, kept having valve issues, etc. I eventually ended up trashing the head. I built another head to same spec but downsized the cams and that fixed everything. My cams were too big for the Greddy turbo, and I think too big for boost at all. I was a noob and learned the hard way, so take my mistakes as a warning. I'm now on a different build but still using the same cams on my current setup. I'd switch them out for other cams to better suit my goals but they still currently work for my setup, not a necessity at the moment, and I'm broke. Don't think bigger is better cuz it's not when it comes to boost.
